Climate change is a major issue for this country and the risk of flooding is a constant concern, given the damage caused. Indeed, they represent 2% of the Philippines' internal budget every year, with a cost of over US$7.4 billion.
The goal of this project is to ensure the proper functioning of six catchment areas, in order to minimize the risk of flooding, and to protect the population and biodiversity, to ensure more social and economic stability.
In order to meet the requirements of the framework contract, Egis (leader) is in a consortium with Inclam (Spain) and Kecc (Republic of Korea).
