The challenge for Egis is to ensure better management of on-street parking. By acting as a developer, integrator and operator, we have the ability to provide digital solutions tailored to the needs of our clients.
In order to reduce the number of parking wardens on foot, Egis deployed ANPR vehicles for parking control in the Dutch city.
ANPR can be installed on different types of vehicles: electric cars (for inspections in the city centre), scooters (for dense areas) or gyropods (for partially pedestrianised areas).
In Amsterdam, Egis is involved throughout the parking value chain from payment, to the management of control, and complaint handling. We provide the following services:
- Number plate recognition technologies for on-street parking control : including ANPR vehicles and PDAs for parking wardens on foot
- Contravention management;
- Subscriber management;
- Maintenance of parking meters;
- Complaints management software (RAPO).

Egis is present in more than 40 cities in France and Europe and manages more than 225,000 parking spaces.
Egis supplies and operates systems for parking control and complaints management in the largest cities in France (Paris, Bordeaux, Rouen, Nice, Angers, Montpellier, etc.) sometimes in partnership with Transdev, via our joint subsidiary Moovia.
In addition to the Netherlands and France, Egis oversees on-street parking in other European countries including England and Portugal.
