Egis is proud to announce its selection for the Department for Transport’s (DfT) new STARThree Framework. Egis has won a place in Category C and E of the framework, signifying an essential advancement in the company's ongoing commitment to delivering best-in-class transport and railway advisory services in the UK.
Developed to operate alongside the existing Specialist Technical Advisory for Rail (STARTwo) Framework, STARThree has been set up to enable the DfT and other public sector entities to access and engage the industry's finest expertise in technical and commercial advisory services for rail and other transport modes. The DfT has designed this framework to support the strategic development and delivery of its investment programmes, including contracting, major programmes, projects and various other activities. The framework commences immediately and will run for two years, with the possibility of a further two-year extension.
Category C – Commercial Advice for Transport – encompasses a multitude of services, including commercial risk analysis, estimating, cost planning, cost data analysis, benchmarking contract and cost management, strategy development, business and commercial model design, supply chain mapping, social value, decarbonisation and more.
Category E – Transport Project and Programme Management Advice – includes, among other things, project and programme management research, project delivery, project controls, assurance, package-specific bid evaluation support, social value and decarbonisation
With a rich portfolio of services in these categories, Egis has demonstrated a depth and breadth of capabilities that are aligned with the DfT's requirements. The company's contribution will enhance the capacity of DfT's supply chain, strengthening its ability to deliver crucial transport projects.
