Industrial environment.
- Industrial risks
- Machine security and operational safety
- Security engineering and fire protection
Our team provides you with its expertise in ICPE and SEVESO regulations, as well as in labour legislation. We analyse efforts to bring practices into regulatory compliance, we list and manage risks of accidents and faults, we recommend technical organisational measures and we put together your regulatory records (environmental authorisation requests) and your due diligence records.
We also work with you on fully securing your industrial facilities and installations: digital simulations of hazardous phenomena (fire and explosion), danger studies, optimisation and improvement of production facilities (operational safety), command control / machine safety.
Our safety engineering specialists help you with the design and implementation of effective means for protecting your facilities against fire and explosion, as well as injury to people and damage to property and the environment by hazardous products.
We are involved in fire protection, identifying potential risks and detecting the early signs of fire so that action can be taken. We can provide you with guidance in your choices, so you can design the most appropriate means of fire protection for your industrial facilities, based on the specific features of what you do and those of any fires which are at risk of breaking out.
Our experts have designed and supervised the installation of hundreds of fire protection systems at industrial facilities over more than 30 years.
Lightning engineering and electrical and electromagnetic interference.
Whether you want to protect property or protect people, our specialists – who have been Qualifoudre certified since the label was first introduced in 2006 – can help you with all lightning related issues – including designing earthing networks and providing protection against exposure to electromagnetic waves, as well as the concepts of electromagnetic compatibility across all the sectors in which Egis operates (rail, nuclear, manufacturing, construction).
We supplement our own expertise with field measurements (earth resistance meters, ohm meters, electrical network analysers) and digital modelling tools (CDEGS, XGSLAB, EMTP-RV, JUPITER, Sphere~Impact, etc.).
Managing polluted sites and soil.
We can help you with your environmental rehabilitation projects – from the diagnostics and risk assessment phases for residents and ecosystems, through to implementing pollution control work.
We work with clients in the energy and industrial gas sector, as well as the automotive, retail, agrifoods, logistics and water and waste treatment sectors.
Dismantling buildings and removing asbestos.
AD INGÉ, an Egis subsidiary, is a design firm specialised in project managing the demolition of buildings, as well as asbestos removal and pollution control. The support we provide in managing asbestos means that we can also incorporate the asbestos risk into asset management of your rehabilitation works.
We also support our clients in recovering waste from rehabilitation and demolition sites, and in repurposing materials from demolition sites (3D + offering). Indeed, the materials and grey carbon resulting from construction account for an average of 56% of all greenhouse gas emissions across the whole life cycle of a piece of infrastructure.
Waste management facility engineering.
For household waste, industrial waste and any other type of waste, Egis can provide you with support in scheduling, undertaking feasibility studies and technical-economic analyses, and designing and supervising the construction of waste treatment and storage facilities, both for new projects and for rehabilitation projects.
70% more waste over the next 30 years to reach 3.4 billion tonnes by 2050! At Egis, thanks to our expertise in eco-design, we are able to develop projects that emit low levels of carbon and use less energy, and projects which do not consume excessive quantities of natural resources. We encourage recycling at the best possible cost.
