Playing a pivotal role between multiple stakeholders.
Egis’s role as the Integrator and Technical Advisor to the State’s project teams is to conduct stakeholder consultation, develop innovative solutions, prepare options analyses and technical discipline reports for the envisaged State procurement. The technical requirements were developed under a system engineering approach together with reference designs for the new high capacity train, specifications and operating scenarios for the depots and requirements for the simulators considering the State’s (PTV) customer requirements.
Building on experience
Our intimate knowledge of the delivery and technical advisory public-private partnership contract documentation provided Egis with the ability to provide a seamless transition from the; pre-contract phase of the project, to the post-contract delivery phases efficiently and with no need for a handover, (which adds additional risk to the time, quality, cost continuum.
The Egis team develops strong relationships, draws on its past experiences and has a body of knowledge to ensure there is a seamless transition between the development of proposals; to the implementation, set-up and delivery of complex projects.
A multi-interface project
The HCMT PPP project had quite a complex series of interfaces that needed to be managed. As well as providing the key technical, commercial, safety, delivery, system interfaces on the Project. Egis team leaders also had to manage the interfaces with multiple other strategic Government projects in the following areas; Cross Yarra Partnership (CYP) Metro Tunnel PPP, the Level Crossing Removal Alliance (LXRA) Projects, the High Capacity Signaling (HCS) Alliance, now Rail Networks Alliance (RNA), Rail Projects Victoria (RPV) and the Metro Operator MTM.
