Payc, consulting firm dedicated to construction management of buildings, joins Egis. This acquisition demonstrates Egis' objective to increase its market share in Colombia, adding presence in the Building sector.
Founded in 1980 and based in Bogotá, Payc with its 350 employees serves nationwide its public and private clients in all stages of construction of a building, providing consulting and engineering services through all the construction value chain: project structuring, design management, construction management, owner´s engineer and work supervision.
Among the emblematic projects of Payc, are :
- The Serena del Mar Hospital (42,912 m2), located a few minutes from the Historic Center of the city of Cartagena, integrates the building into the nature. Serena del Mar Hospital is one of the first buildings to be included in the Serena del Mar Master Plan, a mix-used development close to Cartagena with luxury housing, universities campus, retail, shopping centers, sports facilities and commercial areas.
- Atrio Towers (117,100 m2), an office building designed by the architect Richard Rogers, is the most recent skyline in Bogota, opened to commercial activity in 2020 and located in downtown Bogotá. This is one of the best buildings in the country for its engineering and architecture designs.
- Uniandes Campus Development (113,700 m2), Universidad de los Andes, one of the top universities in Colombia.
- Cultural Center Julio Mario Santo Domingo (23,319 m2), one of the more recent cultural buildings in Bogotá at disposal of citizens. Located in the North of Bogotá, this project had been hosted many worldwide musical and theatre shows.
