Egis announces the acquisition of TC Innov, a leading French company in industrial odour treatment. This operation is in line with Egis' strategy to meet the growing demand from its customers for environmental assistance and to help them prevent and deal with air quality problems and meet the challenges of the ecological transition.
TC Innov, founded in 1996 and based in Nantes, operates mainly in France, with solid references in four areas of activity: metha-composting, rendering, wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) and mechanical-biological waste treatment (MBT), with a particular focus on the last two. With more than 30 experienced talents, TC Innov is helping to strengthen the recognised expertise and know-how of Egis in this field, which is already present in this sector in Aix, Toulouse, Bordeaux and Guyancourt.
This acquisition enables Egis to extend its footprint in the air and odour treatment market, while making a positive contribution to its green turnover. In addition, Egis will now be able to support its clients on international turnkey projects, thanks to Egis' presence in target countries such as the Middle East and Europe.
Working together to develop high-level expertise.
Controlling polluted air discharges, improving hygiene and health conditions for employees, thermal, aeraulic, acoustic and vibratory comfort are all issues that have become increasingly regulated and require the use of very high-level expertise.
TC Innov's alliance with Egis makes it a benchmark player in air treatment for industry.
With solid references in the market, thanks to its involvement in the 5 main stages of an odour treatment project and the technical resources that enable its teams to work on any type of site, from design to installation and maintenance of the equipment installed, Egis and TC Innov are becoming a benchmark and a partner of choice for industrial companies, by:
- Assessment and calculation of atmospheric emissions from roads (COPERT), sea, air or industry (PGS, Tanks methods, US-EPA, etc.);
- Assessment of levels of exposure to pollutants (atmospheric dispersion studies with 2D and 3D modelling, exposure through bioaccumulation of pollutants in the food chain);
- Assessment of health risks and impacts (EQRS, EQIS, EQIS-PA), area studies;
- Proposed measures to combat local pollution (ERC sequence, air treatment, monitoring plans).
- Turnkey air treatment solutions, eco-designed alternatives to traditional methods (laser filtration, biolavage, etc.)
- Availability of the best technologies on the market: COFRAC-accredited olfactometry laboratory, mobile laboratory for on-site analyses, accredited sampling, measurement drones, observatories with real-time alert systems for pollution peaks, 2D/3D modelling.
For Egis group, this new acquisition is fully in line with its "Impact the Future" strategic ambitions, aimed in particular at developing an engineering and operations offer that effectively meets the challenges of climate change, for facilities and infrastructures that produce less carbon.
