Egis, in partnership with the consulting company Attali Associates, organized a major seminar to which fifty of its high-potential young executives were invited, in order to integrate their vision into the group's global development strategy, Impact the Future, established for 2021-2026, and to discuss the role that Egis will have to play in the major societal challenges by 2050.
The seminar was co-chaired by Laurent Germain, CEO of Egis, and Jacques Attali, State Councillor, senior civil servant, business leader, economics professor, lecturer and writer.
Egis wishes to involve its most promising young talents by giving them the opportunity to participate in the Group's strategic decisions. Some 50 of them, selected from a population aged between 20 and 35 and coming from all the Group's entities around the world, were thus able to discuss the Egis Group's mission in relation to the major long-term trends in society, notably environmental, social, technological, geopolitical and economic, and to reflect on how this vision should be translated into short and medium-term action plans for the Group.
The day's program included an introduction by Jacques Attali on the challenges facing the world in 2050, a speech by Laurent Germain on the role and future of Egis in 2050, followed by a question-and-answer session to debate with the young talents invited.
The afternoon was devoted to various workshops and reflections, in small groups, on the major issues of tomorrow, such as Moving and travelling in 2050, Living in the city, Food in 2050 or The role of engineers in the face of the major challenges of the century.
