Egis, a leading global architecture, consulting and construction engineering firm, today unveils its new UK HQ in the heart of London’s Waterloo. The 11,500 sq ft campus-style offices will house 350 of Egis’ UK employees working across its business lines from architecture to rail and energy.
Securing a new London headquarters comes as global firm, Egis, further expands into the UK following a series of major acquisitions and project wins. In 2021, Egis acquired CPMS a multi-disciplinary rail consultancy and infrastructure business, and Galson Sciences Ltd, a consulting and research firm specialising in radioactive waste management and disposal. In 2022, London headquartered international architecture and urban design firm Weston Williamson + Partners also joined Egis’ growing team. In November 2022, Egis was appointed to the UK’s flagship nuclear energy project, Sizewell C.
From the new London HQ, Egis will help deliver some of the UK’s leading infrastructure projects whilst also creating an international hub from which it will service briefs from around the world.
Spread throughout three buildings and five floors, the Egis campus combines open-plan working environments with contemporary shared spaces and on-site amenities including an underground bike store. The campus buildings have been carefully designed and developed to integrate within the Valentine Place conservation area. The conservation area comprises former industrial and warehouse developments from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
Situated in close proximity to Waterloo station, Valentine Place benefits from exceptional transport connectivity and is easily accessible for employees and clients travelling from both within the UK and overseas.
