We are proud to announce that Egis is among the nuclear industry representatives who has signed the Nuclear Industry Manifesto 2024. The announcement was made yesterday in Prague at an event organised by Nuclear Europe and attended by Nathalie Patin, Nuclear Business Development Director, and François Martin, Chief Nuclear Officer.
This manifesto calls on the European Union to recognise nuclear as a solution to many of the challenges which the EU is facing today: climate change, access to affordable energy and security of supply.
Egis is involved in the development of nuclear energy through numerous projects in Europe, including the EPR2 program and ITER in France and Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C EPRs in the United Kingdom. We are also a member of the European Alliance for Small Modular Reactors.
We are convinced that together we can achieve our goals and contribute to the decarbonisation of Europe.
