The Egis, Atelier Villes & Paysages and MH Lighting consortium has won the project management contract for: the redevelopment of the public spaces of the multimodal interchange centre at Vannes station: station forecourt, creation of exclusive bus lanes and integration of cycle paths, as well as for the creation of a new bus station and a car park with around 170 spaces.
The project will have to integrate all of the "mobility" functions expected of this type of development, in particular bicycle parking spaces, parking for people with reduced mobility, as well as spaces specifically dedicated to drop-off.
The construction of a pedestrian-bicycle bridge is a unifying element of this project and was the subject of a specific project management competition won by the Ney & Partners (lead architect), Egis and Atelier Villes & Paysages consortium.
Egis will also coordinate the work between the various structures to be built (footbridge, public spaces, car parks, bus routes), given their strong interaction.
