The Ministry of Mining and Energy of Serbia awarded the contract to EDF and Egis for delivering the preliminary technical study for considering the potential use of civil nuclear power in the country. This will be an opportunity to build a new promising collaboration for the Serbian nuclear development.
The Government of Serbia is laying out the groundwork to evaluate the opportunity to deploy a civil nuclear power program based on the country’s specific requirements and capabilities.
This contract will enable Egis and EDF to provide solid support for the Ministry in its decision-making to move on to the next phase.
